    				<h2>What to Expect</h2>
<p><span class="hilite">First Visit</span>: Your first visit is an opportunity for the therapist, child and yourself to meet prior to an evaluation or intervention. You are welcome to bring siblings and other family members to this visit. The therapist will take this opportunity to informally observe your child's communication and play skills. This visit is offered, at no extra cost, so that you and the therapist may learn about each other, the therapist can make note of what motivates your child, and a general level of comfort can be established for all parties. We recognize the importance of finding a therapist who is a good fit for you child.</p>
<p><span class="hilite">Evaluation</span>: After your first visit we will establish an appropriate evaluation protocol which varies from child to child depending on age, need, and past evaluations. If an evaluation has been completed within the last year and the Cobblestone therapist does not see a need to expand upon that past evaluation then intervention may begin without a new evaluation.</p>
<p><span class="hilite">Intervention</span>: <span>Frequency and duration of sessions will be discussed at your first visit.  Recommendations for intervention vary from child to child and are based on a variety of different factors.</span></p>
